Amy Hall Strawfire encased in 96coe unleaded clear.
Strawfire swirled in unleaded clear by Sandra Arduwie

Fiery tones of red, orange and earth ignite this blend of opaque and transparent frits. A hint of some cool tones gives it complexity and depth.

The yellow and orange colors do not contain lead, which normally makes furnace glass more adaptive in coe. If you are working with Moretti (104coe) or Bullseye (90coe), work this blend on the surface, instead of encasing, to avoid cracking issues.

Orange will become black where it comes in contact with silver or a leaded clear so avoid an Ivory base or leaded clear. I like Kugler's K110 unleaded clear.
